Our client

Situated in some of Brisbane’s most modern offices, our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to undertake both Management Accounting & Financial Accounting duties as their Senior Finance Officer

About the role

- You will assist the Finance Manager with Financial operations and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
- Prepare the monthly management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow
- .Assist in the preparation the monthly Financial and Investment Reports for the Board
- Provide variance analysis to budget
- Provide project accounting for a key project ncluding preparation of reports, variance analysis to budget and forecasting of project costs.
- Undertake trend analysis to assist in improved forecasting and budgeting.
- Identify and report on cost control and revenue improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and participate in the internal and external audit process and prepare management response and follow up to relevant internal audit reports.
- Undertake maintenance of the general ledger and related sub-systems and subsidiary ledgers to ensure ongoing integrity, reconciliations and accurate delivery of budget and project reporting and tracking
- Manage cash flow, funds management and daily bank and rental bond reconciliations

About you as the successful Accountant

- Experience in state government is ideal but not essential
- Experience in AX Dynamics is advantageous
- Experience with TRIDATA is advantages
- CPA or CA part or full qualifications are essential
- Great communication is essential

Our client is looking for an experienced childcare cook, who has experience working within the LDC setting. Having the ability to cook for large numbers of children, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen and be entrusted in delivering the full food program.

Experience with menu planning, stock control and an awareness of catering for children with allergies is essential. High levels of organisation, cleanliness and strong communication skills are required of the successful applicant.

The conditions:

This role will be a full time position, 5 days per week. The client will be offering a generous package, paying above award salary and professional training.
