Event Coordinator
Our client is a not for profit organisation based in Melbou
e and they are looking for a Event Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will report into the Event Manager and will be responsible for event administration and to assist in the coordination and research for events.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the coordination of events
- Assist Events Managers in the development, planning and execution of events
- Writing reports, invoicing, all event related administration
- Liaising with suppliers regarding the event
- Create and manage a database of suppliers
- Answering the phone in the office
- Coordinating logistics for the event
- Organising signage and other marketing requirements for the event
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in Events Administration
- Previous experience managing complex projects with attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation and strategic time management skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
- Clear budgeting and costing experience
- Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
- Highly advanced computer skills
