Business Development Manager

This organization has been listed on Gartner year after year and their solutions continue to be invested in and win awards. Right now they have close to 1500 employees and a global customer base spanning nearly 15000 both enterprise and service providers. So reference sites are a plenty.


They require a Business Development Manager to join them working out of the Sydney office with a geographical territory of NSW, OLD & NT with a focus on Finance & Insurance (FSI) and Gove
ment accounts (including defense). Overall this person will be responsible for quota attainment inside the region and setting the business up for success over the longer term.

You will need to:

- Drive new business directly with clients and via the channel (resellers & distributors)
- Work the Sales cycle end to end, from market mapping, prospecting, relationship creation, proposals right through to purchase order
- Maintain accurate reporting and updating the CRM
- Continually be identifying new opportunities for potential business opportunities
- Creating and executing on specific sales campaigns and also be networking heavily inside your domain

Experience & Skills needed

- Enterprise IT Sales experience an absolute; preferably IT Security or Networking
- Network and contacts within Finance and Gove
- Track record of successful quota achievement consistently over a prolonged period
- A real self-starter that can work autonomously and a can do attitude


The package will be negotiable for the right person. It will be on either a 50-50 or 60-40 split and will sit between $260K OTE and $300K OTE; really depending on the right candidate
