This leading distributor of fibre optic infrastructure products and data centre solutions is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Support person to support their growing team located in West Ryde.

You will also have some runs on the sales board gained from your experience in the Distribution or Telco worlds, be able to demonstrate your success in generating business through outbound calls and will be comfortable and excited by the ability to achieve monthly targets.

On a day to day basis you will:

- Support the Interstate and local Sales representatives in their day to day activities.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Identify sales leads and escalate them to exte
al sales staff
- Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products / services
- Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products / services sold
- Receive, manage or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company’s products / services

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and behaviours:

- Strong sales orientation and committed to excellent Customer service
- Past experience supporting a Sales team.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with key contacts within client/vendor organisations
- A very high attention to detail and use to working to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Fibre Optic technology with a willingness to continually upskill in this area
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and use initiative
