Reporting to the Business Directors the main focus of this diverse role will be to grow and lead the estimating team. This team will manage the tendering, commercial and financial budgets and submissions of all projects. The Estimator will be required to set-up, oversee and develop the tendering processes, source quality sub-contractors and suppliers and assist in tender selection.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead & grow the estimating team
- Implement tendering procedures in conjunction with the Directors
- Conduct measured take-offs on all trade components with tender submissions
- Ensure timely tender submission reviews are carried out for all tenders
- Carry out cost plans on development & meet submission timelines
- Ensure client response time is satisfactory & that we are market leaders in our clients’ perception

Key Selection Criteria

- Diverse Estimating background or relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Experience in the Shop Fitting or Commercial Construction industry
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- High levels of computer literacy

One of our well known clients requires an experienced SAP Project Scheduler to join an action packed SAP implementation project in Tasmania.

This role give you the opportunity to showcase your scheduling skills on a large challenging SAP Project.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Developing, updating and reporting the project schedule with the Project Manager
- Working with all disciplines to further define and refine, timelines for scopes with information on resources, milestones, budgets (effort)
- Develop fully detailed GANTT charts identifying all necessary tasks to effectively manage the work
- Map dependencies against the Project
- Developing a fully integrated Schedule for the projects, identifying potential resource constraints (time, personnel, space etc.) and report the potential constraints to management.
- Work directly with the Project Manager to review status on all projects so that the Project Managers can analyze the risks and impacts

To be successful in this role you will need:

- 4+ years Project Scheduling experience and excellent MS Project skills
- Experience/knowledge of the SAP
- Previous experience scheduling and coordinating on an SAP implementation project
- Excellent communication skills and a “can-do” attitude
