Role
The role involves practising across a wide range of Commercial Law matters, including:
- Franchise agreement preparation, negotiation and review
- Company structures, agreements and transactions
- Drafting, advising on and negotiating commercial agreements
- Sales and purchases of businesses
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, fitouts and deeds
- Commercial conveyancing transactions
- Preparing Wills, Powers of Atto
eys and Deeds of Guardianship
- Other general commercial law matters and advice
Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years’ post admission experience practising in Commercial law. You may be frustrated at your current prospects, but confident that your background has equipped you with high level legal skills coupled with an understanding that growing long-term relationships is the key to business development and practice growth in the future. All you need is the supportive environment in which to apply these talents.
You have an honest work ethic, operate effectively and are ambitious, with a willingness to improve and develop into a leading lawyer in this specialty legal sector. Allied to this drive are confident, well-developed telephone and face-to-face interpersonal skills that enable you to relate well to clients and stakeholders at all levels of the business and legal worlds.
Experience with LEAP legal software would be an advantage to your application, but is not an essential requirement.
Remuneration
Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
