An exciting opportunity has become available to work for Ba
ardos, one of Australia’s leading children’s charities. A part-time (4 days per week) Permanent Care and Adoption Case Manager is required for our Permanent Family Care & Adoption Case Management Team, Find-A-Family based in St Mary’s the role is a 12 Month fixed term contract.

The Role

The Ba
ardos Find-a-Family program in NSW and the ACT offers permanent family care and adoption to children in the age of 5 - 18 years. Reporting to the Program Manager, The Permanent Family Care Case Manager will carry a caseload of children between the ages of 5 - 18 years and will be responsible for the assessment, support and casework service to children referred to Find-A-Family.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Social Work, Social Welfare or related area; previous experience working with children and families and working knowledge of foster care and/or adoption; demonstrated understanding of the out of home care system and excellent report writing skills are essential.

Additional info

You must have a current driver’s license and NSW Working with Children Check.

Pay Range
$72,018 - $85,855 pro rata (includes base and super, but excludes FBT & car)

IT Support Technician (Level 1)

Virtualité are seeking an entry level IT Support Technician for a permanent position in Sydney CBD. The position is with a global media giant. The position will prominently provide level 1 support (over the phone/email) to users in Mac/Windows environment.

The Company:

The company is part of US-based organisation which is one of the world’s largest communications holding companies. Within this fast-paced and highly rewarding environment, we are looking for a Level 1 Support Technician. Based in The Rocks, you will work within a wider team to support staff locally and nationally.

This is primarily a support-focused role following best practices, therefore excellent customer service, an outgoing personality and strong communication skills are essential. You will use your technical knowledge and skills to resolve requests where possible.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in similar roles preferred, not mandatory
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) - Degree in Information technology
- Exposure to and experience with supporting Mac/Apple devices will be highly regarded
- Understanding of networking is good to have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - must have good phone manner with clear communication skills
- Must be available to start immediately.

Senior SAS Insights Analyst

Our client is an Australian market leader in Financial Service sector, with a well established and growing Customer Analytics division. As a result of the ongoing success of the team a brand new position has been created for an experienced Senior SAS Insights Analyst to support the delivery of a range of complex customer marketing analytics based projects. As a Senior SAS Insights Analyst the core responsibilities of your role will cover, but will not be limited to:

- Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to understand and consult around analytical project requirements, negotiating timelines against deliverables to ensure workable outcomes.
- Leveraging strong SAS Data Management skills (SAS Base & SAS Macro) to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes customer data from a variety of complex data sources. Delivering against ongoing requests from the business for timely and accurate SAS data sets to support strategic initiatives.
- Providing analysis and insights throughout the project pipeline leveraging techniques that may include; pre campaign analysis, experimental design, control group creation, test and lea
, next best action analysis, control group testing, ROI analysis, post campaign reviews, dashboards and reports etc.

The successful applicant will come with strong experience working in a complex consumer data driven environment, where managing and manipulating complex SAS data sets has been a key focus. You will be able to demonstrate:

- Strong technical skills and experience (4yrs+) using SAS to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of customer behavioral or transactional data from a variety of source systems (e.g. SAS Base & SAS Macro)
- At least two years’ experience working in a commercial environment with large volumes of data focusing on marketing campaigns, customer insights, risk reporting/analysis, statistical modelling etc
- Educated to a minimum of degree level in a highly analytical discipline such as - Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Computer Science etc.
- An understanding or appreciation of the Data Analytics / Data Science employment landscape and analytical concepts such as; Marketing Campaign Analytics, Customer Insights Analysis, Customer Propensity Modeling (Chu
/ Acquisition / Cross Sell / Up Sell), Segmentation Analysis (Cluster / Basket), Credit Risk Analysis, Credit Scorecard Development, Price Optimisation, Customer Lifetime Value Analysis, Next Best Offer Analysis, Significance Testing, Decision Trees, Neural Networks etc.
