The role

Due to an inte
al move they are currently looking for an experienced Senior Civil Designer with extensive 12D experience to join their group as Design Manager.

This position will look after a small and friendly team and will work closely with the Engineers and clients, both inte
ally and exte
ally. You will remain hands on and will work on transport, land development and infrastructure jobs across the region and beyond.

This is a position where you will play a key role in overseeing design, managing the small team and liaising with clients and key stakeholders to deliver top class design on a wide range of large scale projects.

- Min 10 years experience in Civil Design
- Exposure to team management or supervision

We are currently working with a leading contractor in the Australian market for their recruitment requirements on a major infrastructure projects based here in Sydney. Due to project demands a new role has been created for project and senior project engineers to support the management team.

On a day to day basis your role will support the Tunnel’s team and ensure best practice across the construction process. In addition you will review design documentation, manage TBM production, manage subcontractors, review and schedule procurement of materials and ensure safety and project timeframes are met. We have positions for Cross Passage(Excavation) and Tunnel Concrete Lining roles.

We are keen to speak with tertiary qualified engineers who have proven experience on major tunnelling infrastructure projects with a principal contractor. Experience of drill and blast projects is considered a pre-requisite as is an ability to base yourself in Sydney for the duration of the project.

The Ideal Educator

You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability engage families as well as working and reporting to a members of the management team.
