State Rail Manager - Signalling

We are working with a leading inte
ational engineering company that have won several major infrastructure projects in the Victoria region.

With a plethora of secure, major signalling projects they require an established senior manager to lead the business at a state level.

This is a strategic appointment and represents a leadership role based in Melbou
e. You will head up the NSW rail division and will play a central role in managing and further developing the business from a client development, project delivery and services expansion perspective.

You will be the figurehead of the group regionally and will have a significant amount of autonomy to drive the business and rail strategy forward with earmarked targets in the private and public sectors. In this role you will be expected to draw upon your vast array of local contacts and utilise these to promote the rail business services.

Essential skills:
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline
Extensive experience managing major rail projects and signalling developments with either a contractor or consultant
Significant relationships with key industry stakeholders in the VIC rail market
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
Proven leadership skills, drive, motivation and will to succeed

Our client has specialised in apartment and commercial builds, valued up to $15million for the past 20 years. They are searching for an experienced contract administrator with a minimum 2 years proven experience working in the Melbou
e market, who can demonstrate clear leadership skills, as some on site duties are required; can work autonomously & an individual who is not afraid of hard work.

Some of the expected duties that you will be required to preform on a day to day basis are:

- An ability to liaise with sub contractors
- Proven ability to negotiate while letting packages
- Manage variations throughout the construction process
- Administration of contracts throughout the entire pre and post construction phase
- Preparing reports and document communication to keep all relevant parties informed on the current status of projects
- Ensuring payments are processed on time and in accordance with the agreed terms
