Project Lead Draftsman - HVAC

Large HVAC contractor who are a main player in the Melbou
e construction market who work with major builders are currently seeking an experienced project lead drafter for the business.

The position will report in to the drawing office manager as well as the project manager/s for the projects allocated to. As lead project drafter on jobs you will lead coordination for mechanical and other services using Navisworks as well as heavily involved in modelling using Cadduct and/or Revit MEP pending on the project and customers’ requirements.

Working with tier 1 builders on flagship projects across the Melbou
e construction market requires an individual that can manage relationships with the customer accordingly as well as working well in meeting tight program deadlines.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following;
- HVAC contractor experience on large projects
- Have been the lead drafter responsible for coordination
- Strong experience with Navisworks
- Several years working with Cadduct and/or Revit MEP
- Able to manage relationships with builders and other services subcontractors

Award winning full service advertising agency requires an experienced Traffic Manager to join their North Sydney office.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will manage every job that comes into the agency ensuring they flow through the relevant departments on time hitting all the required project milestones. Essentially you are the go-between, connecting Account Managers to other departments within the agency.

Main Responsibilities Include:

- Create detailed schedules, set deadlines at each stage of the project, and make sure that all work is distributed equally and fairly between creative teams and other departments.
- Meet with the heads of departments to lea
about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the agency.
- Create a schedule for new jobs, and assign those tasks using JIRA.
- Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department, and if necessary, individuals working on the jobs.
- Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities.
- Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the agency.
- Work with the accounting and production departments on invoicing, and possible additional costs due to rush fees, or unexpected deadlines.
- Work with freelancers and temporary contractors, getting them up to speed on jobs they will have assist with.

Ideally you will have 6-10 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast paced advertising agency. You must be highly organised, a problem solver with good attention to detail. You will also be someone who can remain calm under pressure and a confident communicator as you will be required to interact with a variety of people from different departments.

This is a rare opportunity to join a practice established in the community for well over 50 years. All doctors here are long standing and the principal has been in place for 35 years. This is an 8 doctor practice serving the the local community in a fringe metropolitan area. The practice has been recently mode
ised, is fully computerised and is an accredited training and research centre. There are 12 consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms and an emergency room. Teleconferencing and video conferencing facilities are available on site.

All doctors are fully booked and the practice are tu

The practice opens from 9am - 8pm however they are keen to extend hours and to open on a Sunday as well as a half day on Saturday, which is rostered with 2 doctors and a nurse.
