We are not looking for a Python developer but some basic scripting experience would be handy. A windows background will NOT work - you must be experienced with Linux

This role is for a mid to senior level DevOps engineer that will work alongside a great full-stack development team.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the success of building and maintaining cloud infrastructure - with a focus on availability, scalability, performance and security
- Work closely with Developers to diagnose and resolve complex issues residing within all layers of the stack
- Supporting CI/CD activities to ensure smooth and reliable deployments and releases
- Providing input to projects to spec out infrastructure requirements
- Environment build, automation and management
- Management of logging, monitoring and alerting
- Desktop and platform support activities

Skills/experience

- AWS experience - we use Cloudformation / Lambda / EC2 / CloudFront / S3 / Route53 / RDS / API Gateway
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Previous DevOps / Site Reliability experience preferred

In this exciting Contract role, your main purpose will be to establish the Automation Test Framework from scratch by writing automation scripts in order to cut down on their current manual testing time.

You will be working in an Agile environment and will be involved from design right through to implementation, release and post-release, making this a challenging role that will suit any tester with a special interest in improving software from day one of the development cycle.

Responsibilities:

- Be the “Automation Guru” on the team and set up the Automation Test Frameworks
- Strive to improve solution quality to mitigate production issues
- Maintain existing testing tools and environments
- Produce quality test case documentation
- FAT, UAT and PVT testing
- Enforce test and quality standards
- Manage test environments
- Ensure test case repository is maintained and current

Essential:
