Maintenance Manager || Aged Care

Working with one of Sydneys premier Aged Care facilities you will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities are carried in a manner which assists a positive resident lifestyle experience. Alongside your team you will ensure the facilities and its grounds are kept to the highest standard whilst reducing the impact on your residents.

You will be responsible for:

- Ensuring timely response to resident maintenance request
- Asses the needs of the home and its grounds ensuring they are kept running efficiently and with minimal lifestyle impact
- Leading the WHS team and pro-actively ensuring the safety of all stakeholders
- Manage your team as well as any contractors that visit the home ensuring they comply with all WHS requirements and service delivery needs
- Maintain the Material Safety Data Register and Equipment Registers
- Liaising directly with the CEO regarding future maintenance needs, contractor performance, equipment purchase etc

What you will need:

- 5+ years in a similar role
- Experience within an aged care or hospital setting
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Facilities Management or trade qualification
- Extensive knowledge of WHS, building infrastructure & compliance requirements
- Ability to manage a team AND be hands on
- Qualification as a Fire Trainer would be highly regarded

Rail Systems Engineer

Our client is a global leader in delivery of rail systems who provide unrivalled expertise across the sector ranging from high-speed rail, metro and light rail projects. Due to an increase in current work in other areas of the business and stringent project deadlines they have now identified an immediate requirement for two Systems Engineer with a strong level of experience in the installation design of rail signalling projects.

On a day to day basis, you will be involved with preparing and reviewing engineering plans, designing & testing of signalling, communication and control systems and creating and managing work site procedures. Working under the guidance or a Senior Engineer you will also be responsible for developing scope of works and Integration of the signalling works into the stage works construction strategy.

We are keen to speak with tertiary qualified engineers with previous experience in the design and delivery of Rail Signalling, Communication and Control Systems projects in the rail environment. The position is an immediate requirement for a six month initial contract basis so would suite persons who are just finishing a relevant project.

Data Administrator

My client is an industry leading South Australian, privately owned, mechanical services provider based in the Easte
suburbs with ample on site parking.

You will be responsible for the provision of data management support to the Property Services Manager, Administration Manager, Service Supervisors, Services Technicians and other Property Service business unit staff as required.

To ensure asset management activities are completed and the system is updated and maintained in accordance with contract requirements for key maintenance contracts.

Job description

- Assist the Property Services Manager and Systems Manager - Property Services as required.
- Asset creation & maintenance within the database. Ensure PM schedules, billing schedules and all other areas of the contract are in accordance with the contract.
- Monitor asset activities using the database & Excel and provide reports to Property Services Manager and Systems Manager.
- In-conjunction with the Systems Manager and Property Services Manager generate monthly and ad-hoc Customer Reports within the required timeframe.
- Monitor contract activities and ensure KPI’s are achieved and escalate any issues which may impact KPI’s.
- Review work in progress and liaise with service administrator to ensure timely invoicing of works and liaise with service co-ordinator to ensure timely job closure.
- Create month end consolidated invoices and reconcile customer account.
- Generate purchase orders for Subcontractor maintenance works and monitor subcontractor work. Escalate any issues which may impact KPI’s.
- Ensure all supporting documentation for contract work is electronically filed
- Action any debtor related queries for the contract and escalate any problems.
- To review and process email requests in a timely manner and to file completed email requests appropriately.
- Provide backup for the Service administration.
- Liaise with key stakeholders if there are exceptions/problems.
- Contribute to the team to ensure continuing productivity of other team members.

Skills and experience

- Relevant degree or Certificate in Business Intelligence & Data Management or ability and interest in gaining Cert IV in BI & DM
- + years in an administration role in a busy industrial office environment.
- Experience in a reconciliation type function.
- Accurate keyboarding skills and eye for detail.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Proficiency in Wennsoft software application is ideal but not mandatory
