Senior Manager - Financial Services Analytics

Our client is an industry leading management consultancy with prestigious brand and high profile base of established clients. Following the recent appointment of a new senior leadership team they are investing heavily in the business and have identified an increased strategic focus at the financial services sector. As a result, they are looking for a seasoned financial services analytics and insights SME who can join the business and help drive penetration and growth within its existing customer base.

As Senior Manager - Financial Services Analytics and Insights, the responsibilities of the role will cover but not be limited to;

- Leading a high performing, multidisciplinary team, managing and guiding the delivery of successful analytics based outcomes.
- Engaging with clients to develop an understanding their challenges and define analytics based approach to resolving their needs. Communicating complex ideas in easy to understand and impactful way.
- Help creating the market opportunities within both Financial Services and proposing, delivering and working within a broader data and analytics community.
- Delivering data analytics focused projects that may include; Analytics operating model design/strategy, Process design and optimisation, Market expansion/segmentation, Risk analytics, Customer and/or Marketing analytics, Productivity/cost reduction, Project/Program delivery

As the successful applicant you will come from a strong background delivering data driven analytics projects from within a financial services environment and you will be able to demonstrate;

al stakeholder engagement skills with ability to develop robust working relationships, build trust, gather and develop project requirements, negotiate timelines and deliverables, deliver and present solutions, cultivating a pipeline of projects taking the client on an evolutionary jou
ey.
- High levels of business acumen and commercial awareness from within the financial services industry; with ability to quickly grasp strategic concepts, clarify desired outcomes, address ambiguities, and set expectation.
- Strong analytical problems solving skills with experience investigating financial services industry related projects such as Analytics operating model design/strategy, Process design and optimisation, Market expansion/segmentation, Risk analytics, Customer and/or Marketing analytics, Productivity/cost reduction, Project/Program delivery.
- Strong hands in technical skills leveraging tools and technology that could include R, Python, SQL (SQL Server, Teradata SQL, Oracle SQL, etc), SAS (SAS Base & SAS Macro), data visualization tools like Tableau, Qilikview & PowerBI, Big Data technology such as Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Hive etc.
- Experience leading a team of Data Scientists, Analysts or Consulting professionals.
- A strong self-starter with the ability to manage your own work flow and deliver solutions on time in a fast passed environment.

Customer Experience Research & Test Lead

Exceptional opportunity to take the lead on research and testing with a widely known Australian organisation!

This position will see you working collaboratively with multiple teams to identify and define new products and services for an existing (and growing!) customer base! Your main priority will be around planning and building research and testing methods for the products and services offered by the company, as well as being an integral part of developing new products. You will be able to bring very strong value proposition to customers and create products that have a positive impact on people’s lives.

You are a decision maker!

You will be the person deciding what the best approach to research and testing is. You will be able to build interactive prototypes and get some rapid testing going to ensure that concepts are taken to market quickly.

What do you need?!

Experience in a UX position is essential here. A strong focus on research and end to end testing will need to be shown, as well as having the ability to plan and lead design thinking workshops for multiple teams in the business. The tools of the trade will be Axure, Balsamic and Invision but anything else you can bring along with you will be of benefit.

Ideally you will have experience in designing for responsive sites and mobile, and you’ll need to have smashing stakeholder skills!

This will be an initial 6 month contract but there will be an opportunity to extend or even go permanent!

Edmen are seeking Disability Support Workers to support young people with disabilities. Casual role with ample hours available. Weekly pay, no time sheets and opportunities to transition into a permanent role with our client.

The job

- Provide support to young people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities in a group home, in-home and respite setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, community support and empowerment
- Work with complex care needs and challenging behaviours

What you need to succeed

Minimum 6 months paid experience as a Disability Support Worker
Experience supporting people who have challenging behaviours
Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence and have your own car
Experience must be able to perform personal care and manual handing
Willing to do shift work including emergency/on call work
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate or be willing to obtain these
Hold a current Blue Card and Yellow Card or be willing to obtain these

Candidates must be able to demonstrate solid experience working with clients displaying complex challenging behaviours and must be confident in their use of behaviour support plans.
