Accounts Officer

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer with full range accounts payable and receivable experience. This is an immediate assignment with a government client based in Parramatta. This is starting on an 8 week assignment with a view to extend or apply for a permanent opportunity.

The Accounts Officer will provide a high standard of customer service in a business support role involving the processing of reconciliations, invoice processing, journals, and discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information. The position will also act as a Finance administrator providing clerical support such as minutes taking for the finance team, relief phone answering, and other administrative duties as assigned by the manager.

Key accountabilities include:

- Accounts Receivable and Payable functions

- Transaction Processing - Understand and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transactional processes and acknowledge situations that are outside SOPS or precedent

- Customer Service - Maintain a high standard of service to managers and staff from across the department

- Working Collaboration - Accept opportunities for job rotation within the team to increase knowledge and capacity

The desired qualifications are:

- Relevant qualification and experience in a Finance, Accounts Officer capacity within government or large organization

- SAP experience is highly preferred

- Strong demonstration of flexibility and reliability

- Proven team player willing to assist in finance and admin duties in the branch

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Availability: Immediate

Our client currently requires an experienced Office Administrator on a contract basis for their office in West Perth. The position will require someone with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, good work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.

The role will include:

Kelly Services is seeking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor for an assignment with a reputable government client based in Sydney CBD. This is an immediate assignment initially up to 8 weeks with a view to extend.

The role will be supporting recruitment efforts from various sites and will act as a point of contact for business/hiring managers on resourcing needs. It will deliver contemporary client focused talent resourcing solutions and services to assist with the development of best practice talent policies, programs, tools, and governance.

Key accountabilities

- Identify, design and develop talent resourcing services including candidate attraction, selection,
assessment and pipeline management to deliver contemporary talent and resourcing initiatives and solutions

- Advise, as subject matter expert, on quality recruitment, attraction and talent resourcing methodologies that respond to business requirements

- Coach and develop key stakeholders to apply a standard approach to talent resourcing and identify opportunities for improvements to deliver a consistent quality workforce to meet business current and future talent needs

- Build and maintain strong client relationships with key business stakeholders through consultation and collaboration, responsive advice and service ensure recruitment, attraction and talent resourcing programs are integrated into business as usual programs

The ideal candidate must have:

- Relevant qualification and experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Project Support within the public sector or large organization
