Office 365 Systems Administrator

A new 6 month contract opportunity is on offer for an Office 365 Office Systems Engineer based inner CBD.

The Office 365 Systems Engineer will focus on supporting the Office 365 project in the migration of approximately 34,000 email accounts from the existing Exchange 2013 on-premise solution to the cloud and the delivery of OneDrive capabilities.

The Key Responsibilites for the Office 365 Systems Engineer will be as required below;

- Undertake implementation, installation, support and maintenance of technical solutions to enable the effective delivery of Office 365 email and OneDrive.

- Provide advanced 3rd level support and maintenance of relevant technologies, including responding to problems and faults, providing support to clients and liaising with other technical staff and external service providers to resolve issues.

- Undertake administrative tasks including (but not limited to) submission of change requests and the creation/maintenance of technical documentation.

To be carefully considered for this opportunity we are seeking to engage caniddates holding the following key technical competenices as below;

- Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in IT or related field and subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

- Proven ability and skills in email migrations from Exchange 2013 to Office 365.

- Office 365 email migration

- Deployment of OneDrive

- 3rd level Exchange 2013 Admin Support

- Participate and/or lead activities in the delivery of Office 365 email and OneDrive migrations.

- Experience in change management principles in a complex environment.

- Evidence of in-depth problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to perform research or liaise with others to develop solutions for complex problems.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to complete appropriate technical documentation and to interact effectively with clients.

- Demonstrated commitment to delivery of outcomes, and a self-motivated, positive and enthusiastic approach to achieving goals through effective team and individual work.

- Proven ability to write clear and concise project documentation, approach methodically to tasks while paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

- Proven ability to knowledge share, upskill peers and drive positive change

Desirable

Script development with PowerShell (or equivalent) to support operational Office365 tasks.
Support of complex email environments (eg user identity information from various upstream systems) with mixture of client devices (Windows machines, Apple Mac, iOS, Andriod etc)

Support, configuration and implementation of Office365 federation with an external (on-premise) SAML 2.0 Identity Provider

Systems Administrator for Data Centre support

My client is experiencing added growth and are looking to expand the Systems Admin team to help support the load.
The role is based in the Frenches Forest.

Role Responsibilities:

- Technical Support; prime for data centre technical support, problem solving and maintaining a high level of system reliability as well as resolving trouble tickets( 3rd level Support)
- System Migration; perform upgrades and
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and offsite location as necessary

Qualifications and Experience sought:

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with high availability networks and systems, network operations or incident response (Data Centre related support)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in network support, systems support or a combination of all
- Experience with hardware virtualization and troubleshooting to component level ( Hyper- V and Vmware)
- Hands on experience of Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethe
et, L2/L3 technologies
- Good working knowledge of SAN’s and working with HP EVA4400
- Strong knowledge of Server technologies, Virtual Machines, Trouble shooting, Backup technology.
- Strong knowledge of Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fibre Cabling, Switches & Routers
- Perform Security Management - Manage Security System access, Facilities Security Access cards system.
- Assist in the migration and upgrades of production Servers.
