PAS Implementation Project Officer

Our client is one of Melbou
e’s Top Private Hospital, offering cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neuro-surgery, gastro-surgical, high acuity mate
ity and neonatal services.

Reporting to the PAS Project Manager, the PAS Project Officer is responsible for providing analytical and functional project support for the implementation of the new Patient Management System. The role requires a professional analyst experienced in the delivery of IT projects from the operational and change management perspective.

The key responsibilities are:

- Implementation of core modules to clinical and administrative Service areas including patient bookings, admissions & discharges, Private Health inpatient billing and Wards;
- Assistance with System configuration;
- Attendance at Super User Training;
- Process re-design support;
- Assistance with Test Plan development;
- Participation and Coordination of User Acceptance testing;
- Development of training materials;
- Project communications including development of presentation and promotional materials;
- End user training to exte
al stakeholders;
- Assistance with Cyberquery reporting development;
- Project support to PAS Project Manager; and
- Other related duties as defined from time to time by the PAS Project Manager.

Essential Experience Profile

- Private Health industry;
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional/business experience;
- Business Process Mapping;
- Stakeholder engagement/management;
- Ability to work with stakeholders in the facilitation of solutions, and to develop engagement and understanding;
- Demonstrated experience in PAS systems and project analysis;
- Solid experience in requirements gathering and workshop/training facilitation;
- High degree of self-direction, initiative and motivation;
- Highly self-managed and able to set and work towards deadlines/milestones;
- Excellent and proven project administration skills;
- Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Highly developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframes;
- Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build strong working relationships with customers, vendors and team members;
- Keen eye for detail.
